If this trope exists please let me know :) the closest i’ve come to read is Just a Heartbeat Away by Cara Bastone, but i didn’t really like that the FMC had a boyfriend in the beginning, other than that it was 5 stars. What i’m looking for in the FMC is that preferably she doesn’t have kids, and that there is a bit of an age gap between the two characters (the bigger the better for me lol) I would really also like if it the dad wasn’t the worlds most handsome man, i would like it to feel realistic, maybe he’s got grey hairs and things like that. I’ve used the search with this same phrase, but i’m mostly seeing single dads who have money/ are well off. So all of a sudden i really want to read another single dad romance, but what i really want is a working class/ poor single dad.
